PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Eagles are not using the word "Redskins" on the cover of their weekly media guide.

Instead, it just says "Washington" for the opponent Sunday. Through the team's first three games, the opponents on the media guide cover were referred to as the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets.

Director of media Relations Derek Boyko had no comment, and team owner Jeffrey Lurie was not made available to comment on the omission of the word.

Native American groups have lobbied the NFL and the Redskins to change the nickname, which they say is offensive.
