One Hanford senior is getting the trip of his life. But it was only made possible by one of the hardest battles of his life.

Spencer Anderson, a die hard Seattle Seahawks fan was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer back in March.

Thanks to his family and friends, the Make-A-Wish foundation is taking Spencer and his family to the Seahawks training facility and the game on Sunday.

Spencer aspires to be a play-by-play NFL commentator, so he will be shadowing hawks announcer Tony Ventrella, will be interviewing one Seahawk, and be on the field prior to kickoff on Sundays showdown with the 49ers.

"To have that be my sole focus, it's going to be such an amazing experience, that I will be lost in it, that I won't be able to worry about some other matter, and because that is what is most amazing about this experience," said cancer survivor Spencer Anderson.

After five grueling months of chemotherapy, Spencer has been cleared. He will graduate next year to catch up with his studies and looking into WSU for their radio program.
