I just read about a cozy little place in Pennsylvania comes complete with bullet proof windows, an amphitheater, and too many expensive features to mention that goes for just under $10,000,000.  If you're going to dream, you may as well dream big, right?

I forgot to mention the 12 bathrooms, 10-car garage, and labyrinth that also go with the Harmony Mountain Estate that sits on 100 acres near Waverly, Pennsylvania.

Here's how Sotheby's International Realty describes it.

The homeowner had a specific vision for this residence, a place where materials and cultural elements from around the world flow together to create one harmonious environment. Approach the house from the dramatically lit winding driveway and you know that you are embarking on a journey. The serenity of its location stays with you throughout your experience. The Italian-influenced architectural lines of the home draw from the owner's cultural background mixed with Eastern architecture.

I don't know about  materials and cultural elements from around the world flowing together and creating a harmonious environment. My dream home would be one where my five kids would have all of the space they need to not trip over each other. A place where each kid's room came with maid service, a study area, and a private bath.

What would my requests in this dream home be? A huge kitchen with professional appliances. A huge garage devoted to vehicles, not junk. And a distant early warning system that would tell me when the little girl next door who always just drops in at just about any hour was on the move.

How about you? What would be the features of your dream home be?
