The highs and lows of everyday life is a kill joy according so some Australian scientists.

A new study shows the carefree days of youth are among the happiest days of our lives but the late 20's  take a turn that lasts nearly four decades!Australian researchers say happiness follows a predictable trajectory .  Whether you're from the USA or the land down under, satisfaction over life dips from the early 20s, levels off  for about 40 years and then picks up starting around  65 .

The  The Daily Mail. Reports that couples experience the greatest satisfaction with life just before having their first child, then a dip from the first year of the child’s life until the child reaches age 6 and starts school.

So the study shows the silver lining of getting older is getting happier with the highest level of joy
