I meant to post this last week. I'll admit it. I am a last minute guy. I don’t rock climb or sky dive or wrestle alligators. My adrenaline comes about by way of procrastination. What is procrastination? Well, it’s…uh, I’ll get back to you on that. However science says being a procrastinator is bad for your health.

A new video from Men's Health explains that waiting until the last minute on important projects of activities actually puts your body in a highly alert "fight-or-flight" state. It beats bull fighting to get there but chronic stress of this magnitude can take its toll.

Health experts say this kind of self induced stress can increase inflammation in the body which can lead to a host of health problems from headaches to cardiovascular disease.

What to do? Cue up the common sense and add stress-relieving techniques into your day-to-day in the form of things like exercise, meditation, and avoiding multitasking. (LifeHack)

I’m sure I’ll get around to that…one of these days.
