The City of Yakima needs more of you to bark for your park. The city is trying to win an online contest with a grand prize of $100,000.  If Yakima wins the contest the money would be used to help build a dog park at Franklin park. Yakima has only 708 votes in the contest, and time is running out.  Tracy Bennett, the cities recreational supervisor says, "you can vote twice a day, once at petsafe.net and once on the Petsafe facebook. The voting started May 7th, and we have until June 7th, which is Saturday. The finalist will be announced on June 13th."

The grand prize is $100,000 , and four $25,000 prizes will also be awarded.
