Demonstration Coming to Yakima and Phone Service Restored
The group will have a large inflatable dog wrapped in a hot dog bun asking the public the question "why love one but eat the other?"
Officials from Mercy For Animals will also be handing out literature at the protest that starts at 11:00 a.m.
Service was restored at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Yakima County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft that caused a major outage of phone and internet service to thousands of Centurylink customers who also did not have 911 service.
