Every morning I wake to puffy eyes.  I’ve been blaming it on the Morning News routine but perhaps my love of condiments is the culprit.  According to EyecareBasics.com, more water might be the solution.  The reason? Excess salt in our bodies can build up fluid around the eyes while we sleep. (And I love salt!) The prescription is drinking a large glass of water before you go to bed because that will help cleanse the salt from your system.

The experts say an extra pillow can help as a slight elevation will prevent fluids from settling under the eyes.  So…since I drink little water, love salt and sleep without a pillow, my puffiness is my problem…and now I have my solution.

But with that large glass of water before bed my next problem might be a puffy bladder!
