Dave’s Diary: Survey Sez — Ellen Degeneres Is The Fans Favorite

 I’m not sure who makes the list but I found it and I thought you might find it interesting as we continue to keep our eye on pap culture.  According to “the list”, America's favorite TV star is Ellen DeGeneres.

The popular daytime talk show host and heir apparent to the throne once held by Oprah Winfrey, beat out "NCIS" special agent Mark Harmon, who held the title for two consecutive years. The top 10 television personalities are:

1. Ellen DeGeneres
2. Mark Harmon
3. Jon Stewart
4. Jay Leno
5. Jim Parsons
6. Bill O'Reilly
7. Anderson Cooper
8. Oprah Winfrey
9. David Letterman
10. Tom Selleck

Debuting on the list for the first time are Anderson Cooper and Tom Seller. Two stars dropped off the list this year: Hugh Laurie and Stephen Colbert. Just like the last two years, there are only two women on the list: Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey. Men say Mark Harmon is their favorite, while for women it is Ellen DeGeneres.
