I resolve to be more stress free in the New Year, how about you? I have a number of things I’m going to try but I have to say this one sounds interesting. Posters of abstract art with organic shapes can reduce work stress by 24 percent and anger by 21 percent, according to a study in Environment and Behavior.   So just what is an organic shape?  Plants, people, animals, things with flowing or curved lines. Really, I should look at “curvy” people to lower stress.  Christina Hendrichs, I’m not just staring, it’s therapy!  No Really!

If you are moved to shop, stress study authors say look for pieces by Gregg Robinson, Paul Jenkins, and Joan Miro. Their works are "more playful and curvilinear than geometric formations."   (Men's Health)
