Daughters and Dinosaurs Can be Delightful :Dave’s Diary

My daughter Katelyn and I are heading to the Dinosaur show at the Sundome tomorrow.  She is 4 now but since the day she was born her nickname has been “gator” and after all, isn’t a real life gator a modern day dinosaur?  And doesn’t she love watching the Dinosaur Train cartoon show?  Yes and Yes! She doesn’t know what to expect but she is so excited she’s been rampaging through the house the last couple of days like a ..well, like a dinosaur!  She has a couple of plastic toy eggs with baby dinosaurs inside as well as a T-Rex skeleton that all play centerpiece to most meals lately!

Suffice it to say she is thrilled to be going! Maybe we’ll see you there?  What Katie-Gator doesn’t know is that her daddy wanted to be a paleontologist to the age of 17 himself! (he’s thrilled to be going too!! Roooaaaarrrrr!)
