SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Authorities are searching for suspect after a shooting at a bank in North Spokane left a customer seriously wounded.

Spokane Assistant Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer says emergency responders went into the Wells Fargo bank under police cover Thursday night and found a man with two gunshot wounds.

Citing the FBI, KREM says  the wounded man was a bank customer and investigators believe the suspect was planning to rob the bank.

The FBI says the suspect was wearing a mask when he walked in the bank. It is unclear if the suspect got away with any money.

Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage to try to identify the suspect.
