Crystal Apple Awards

It's time to nominate your favorite Yakima school district teacher for the 25th annual Crystal Apple Awards....local businesses and corporations sponsor the program that honors classroom teachers, educational teams and other certificated educators in the district...spokesperson Mary Beth Wright. The program calls attention to the teaching profession by identifying a few of the many educators who positively impact the lives and futures of Yakima students.  Each honoree will be awarded a $1,000 and a crystal apple on may 7th.   Nomination forms for the 2012 John McAlister Crystal Apple awards program are available at any school or the district community relations office at 104 North Fourth Avenue.  The deadline for a nomination form is March 15th. *
