Registered voters in Yakima County will be able to start voting this week when they receive the November ballots.

County Elections Manager Kathy Fisher says, “We’re sending out nearly 107,000 ballots on Wednesday throughout Yakima County.”

The ballots are expected to begin arriving in mailboxes by Thursday. They need to be returned no later than election day.

The County Auditors office will provide drop boxes for people who do not want to mail in their ballot. Drop boxes are located across the street from the Yakima County Courthouse on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. or drop boxes on election day located at Toppenish High School and the Sunnyside Worksource Office.
