County Coroner Reports On The Death Of The Missing Man

The County Coroner says the missing man who was found murdered and dumped on the side of the road near Granger on Monday was not shot to death.  Jose Correa died after being beaten several times in the head. Deputies found Correa Monday in a ravine on a remote road South of Granger.  Detectives initially said he was shot, but the coroner says there were no gunshot wounds. Correa's truck was found burning over the weekend. No arrests have been made in the case.
