Klatovsky says the blood is great news for people suffering from diseases like cancer.

Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital is the only hospital in Eastern Washington that has a cord blood program. and Klatovsky says several people in the Yakima Valley are alive Today because they received cord blood transplants.
