Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction over the Nob Hill bridge on Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 3:00 p.m.

Cranes will be used to help install new machinery at Shields Bag and Printing. The crane will take up two lanes of the road so that it can lower the equipment of the roof of the company's building.

The closure will occur between 1st Street and 3rd Avenue and the city is advising that drivers use an alternate route to avoid the likely traffic delays. The city engineers recommend Walnut or Mead Avenues.

Access to homes and businesses will not be interrupted. Construction will be weather and equipment dependent and could potentially be rescheduled.
