Recently construction has started up at the Nob Hill Plaza in Yakima which is located near 24th Ave. and Nob Hill.

KNDO is reporting that the new owner recently started development on the property.

Hogback LLC bought the plaza in May and is now adding an estimated 6,000 square-foot restaurant and 9,000 square-feet of retail space. One business in the plaza says they are pleased to see the growth.

"More retail and some more restaurants I understand might be coming into the area," Jeff Smith of Ted Brown Music Store said. "Both of those things are tied into new faces coming into the store where we can take of them and their musical needs."

The construction is expected to finish the summer of 2015.
