Monday was a day of cleanup after widespread damage from Sunday's severe weather. Powerful wind knocked down trees across the region. A large tree fell on top of a mobile home near 76th Avenue and Nob Hill Boulevard in West Valley. The ceiling sustained serious damage. Now, water is leaking into the home. The homeowner says the storm sounded like a tornado right before the tree fell.

"The kids, they got upset," said Alberto Deniz. "Last night they got a prayer said because the house is the only thing they have. Everyone is going to get upset when this happens."

The damage isn't limited to one home. Debris is scattered across the neighborhood. Two trees fell at a home at 75th and Tieton. One of the trees hit the home. Lightning is the likely culprit. The owners tell us there was no damage inside the home.
