Yakima city crews are busy with a sewer line project this week that's forcing the closure of an entrance to the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter on Nob Hill Boulevard (6600 West Nob Hill Boulevard). The entrance will be closed this week and a traffic signal near the entrance will be temporarily disabled while repairs to a storm sewer line are underway.

Project work hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, but the parking lot entrance will be closed and the traffic signal will be disabled ’round the clock.  Additionally, the westbound, outside lane of Nob Hill will be closed from 68th Avenue to roughly 400 feet to the east while the project is underway.

Walmart customers and those of other business in the immediate area will need to use alternate parking lot entrances until the project is completed.
