Too old to trick-or-treat? Looking for something different for your youngsters? The City of Yakima’s Parks and Recreation Department  has a number of different activities planned around Halloween this year.
Friday (Oct. 27) 6-10 p.m. -- Halloween Dance and costume contest at Harman Center. Open to all ages with prizes donated from local businesses. DJ'd music and refreshments will be provided. Cost: $3/person and $4/couple

Sunday (Oct. 29) 5:30 p.m. -- Halloween Egg Hunt (kids 10 and under) at Franklin Park. (Must be PRE-REGISTERED to participate! Deadline is Thursday, October 26th). Each kid gets a free bag for their treats and eggs. Cost: $5 for city residents, $8 for those outside city limits
