City Meeting Tuesday To Talk About Transit Changes

If you are a bus rider in the city of Yakima you need to know Yakima Transit is redesigning a route to take the place of Route 10 starting May 1. The change is prompted by the City of Selah’s decision to establish a different provider for Selah Transit.
The first public meeting to discuss these changes will be held  Tuesday, March. 6th at 5:30 pm at the City’s Public Works Department’s large training room, 2301 Fruitvale Boulevard.
The proposed change will also be the focus of Yakima Transit’s public meetings on Tuesday, March 20th at 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm. The March 20th meetings will also be held in the Public Works Department’s large training room.
