The Yakima City Council meets tonight and has a light agenda.

The council is expected to set Nov. 5 for a public hearing regarding the Downtown Master Plan that the city has been working on for the past year.

The city council will hold a study session on Oct. 22 before the public hearing. During the public hearing you'll have a chance to comment on the master plan before the council votes on the issue.

The council will also hold a hearing on digital signs less than 72 feet and it will also set a hearing for Nov. 5 to talk about cell phone towers and new standards being developed by city staff for the future design of the towers.

Tuesday's meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. at Yakima City Hall.
