Last month the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce sent a letter to the Yakima City Council that questioned the council's professionalism and lack of productivity. Chamber President Verlynn Best says the letter was sent out of concern.
"We want them to be successful. And they have a huge impact on business and the perception of our community."
The city council met at city hall Tuesday night and talked about the letter and possibly bringing back a meeting the council used to have that allowed council members to review agenda items before the city council meeting. Best says they simply want the council to work professionally together and be productive.
