For the past eight years Yakima's Children's Wishes and Dreams have made a lot of dreams come true for kids challenged by an illness.

Volunteer and spokeswoman Carolyn Curry says, “We’ve helped more than 150 children [including] everything from trips to Hawaii to redesigning bedrooms.”

The kids range in age from 3 to 21 and face both life-altering and life-ending illnesses.

Curry says they help kids but now they are looking for help from the community. They are having a "Good Stuff" sale at the Broadway Grange located at 909 West Washington Avenue from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday as a way to raise needed funds.

Stop by and purchase an item or just donate to Children's Wishes and Dreams.
