Child Abuse Lawsuit Filed Against Yakima Diocese

The Yakima Diocese has a new lawsuit has been filed against them for child sex abuse by former priests.

The suit claims the abuse happened to a woman back in the 1970s. She was a parishioner between 8 and 12-years-old at the time.

The lawsuit states that the Diocese should have known about the danger before letting the priests into the church.

It is being handled by Tamaki Law which has successfully sued over priest sex abuse in the past.
