Chazanow Hired as Voice of Cougars

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Matt Chazanow has been hired as the play-by-play announcer for Washington State football, men's basketball and baseball games.

The move was announced Wednesday by Cougar IMG Sports Marketing.

Chazanow replaces Bud Nameck on the football and men's basketball broadcasts.

For football, Chazanow will team with veteran broadcaster Bob Robertson, along with Jason Gesser and Jessamyn McIntyre.

Nameck spent the past 13 years as a member of the Cougar football broadcast team. He also served as the voice of Cougar men's basketball since the 1993-94 season.
