The Central Washington Humane Society is undergoing some major remodeling.

The building will look different from the outside and inside. Ceilings will be raised, ventilation updated and there will be new rooms for you and your potential pet to interact.
Cats are already enjoying new cages.

"We started with the cat room here several months ago where we doubled the size of the kennels," said Erica Seaver-Engel, outreach coordinator. "Gave the cats a little shelf to sit upon and perch. New ventilation."

Since August the humane society has had nearly 1,000 adoptions.

You can see all the new changes during an open house at the humane society this Saturday.
