No official cause yet to Sunday’s fire that destroyed the clubhouse at the Yakima Tennis Club outdoor facility on North 35th Avenue.

Yakima Fire Department Capt. Tom Schneider says nothing has been ruled out. He says the problem is the intensity of the fire.

The building was 100 percent involved when the crews arrived. That means there’s not a lot to work with as far as any potential leads or evidence.

Schneider says investigators are looking at everything, including a wedding that ended early Sunday morning, hours before the fire was reported at about 6 a.m Sunday.

Though investigators are looking at all possibilities, Schneider says he would be surprised if it was an arson fire.

Damage is estimated to be at least a half-million dollars. No word on when the cause will be determined.
