10-Grand Coming To Promote Health & Learning For Valley Kids – Dave’s Diary

The nation’s largest philanthropy dedicated solely to health is throwing some of its monetary muscle to a Yakima group aimed at improving health and early learning for Yakima Valley children.

The Roadmaps to Health Action Award from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation includes a $10,000 grant and up to one year of consultation and coaching to help the “Investing in Children Coalition” build a culture of health in the Yakima Valley
