Yakima Police have arrested two people in two different carjacking incidents reported on December 9 and 10. Police say on Dec. 9th around 1:30 p.m., a man and young woman threatened a victim with a knife after they received a ride from Valley Mall. The second robbery happened on Dec. 10th around 7:20 p.m., when police say the pair again threatened victims with a knife on the 600 block on W. Yakima Ave. After an extensive investigation, Police identified both suspects, a 19-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl in Sunnyside and arrested the two Wednesday. Police recovered a stolen white 1999 Lincoln Town car in King County. The man was jailed on two counts of 1st degree robbery. The 14 year old girl was placed in the Yakima County Juvenile Detention Center on similar charges.
