Cabela’s Outpost is Now Open

People came from all over the Northwest today for the grand opening of the Cabela's outdoor store in Union Gap. Over a thousand people waited in line, some even waited all night for a chance to be the first people to experience the companies first store in Eastern Washington. The store is the companies first Outpost Store, which is smaller than the companies mega-stores in Tulalip and Lacey.  It's 40 thousand square feet and it is tailored specifically for customers in Central Washington.   The store features fishing, hunting and other oudoor supplies and it will employ 100 people.  The Nebraska based company now has 41 stores nationwide,  3 in Washington State.

  Cabela's Outpost is located in the new Washington Plaza in Union Gap, adjacent to the new JC Penney's Store.
