Cabela’s Offering Gun Buyback

The Cabela's store in Union Gap IS HOLDING a gun buyback event over the next two days. Unlike buybacks in other cities that are conducted by law enforcement, Cabela's is focusing more on trade-ins.

They'll re-sell all the firearms they bring in as used guns.

Cabela's says their main goal isn't just selling firearms. They also want to raise awareness about the safety classes they offer to gun owners.

"To try to give the customer an opportunity to trade up for, you know, a better value in their firearms and exactly what they're looking for," said Union Gap Marketing Manager Haley Weston.

The buyback runs today and Saturday.

You can bring in any unwanted guns to trade or sell between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on both days.
