Buying Fireworks On The Internet A Big NO

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — As the Fourth of July approaches, the Washington State Fire Marshal has a warning for residents: buying fireworks over the Internet is illegal.

Under state law, all fireworks must be purchased from a licensed retail fireworks stand during a legal sales period.

Fire Marshal Charles Duffy says buying fireworks online or from websites like Craigslist and OfferUp is prohibited.
