Broken Pipe Floods Basement Of Yakima County Jail

There's a lot of water in the basement of the Yakima County jail because of flooding. The basement of the jail is closed until at least Tuesday. Crews are working to clean up the basement and check electronic equipment that could have been impacted. The flooding was caused by a broken air conditioning pipe that was discovered on Monday. Court Proceedings have been moved to the Yakima County Courthouse until next week.
