Bring on Summer But Don’t Forget Winter is Still Just an Hour Away — Dave’s Diary

We spoke with Doug Williams of Whistlin' Jack Lodge this morning on the Morning News. Now that Chinook Pass is open he wanted to invite folks to come up for the drive and check out the majestic mountain peaks, intense greenery, the wildlife and fresh mountain air!

My wife underestimated the "freshness" of that air on Monday and wasn't too thrilled to pose before a Chinook Pass wall of snow.  Kate brought her snow suit and was all in for playing "penguin" and the noble Dewey the dog, well he's always ready to play no matter what the weather or conditions!

It is a beautiful drive, fun to see that much snow when it's 80 degrees in town. And the pie is always delicious at Whistlin' jack Lodge!
