Box Office Tickets Winner is!?

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "Hotel Transylvania 2" is starting out in the penthouse. It took in $47.5 million in its debut weekend to capture the top spot on the box office list. It also has grabbed the mark for the most money ever taken in for a September release. Even better for the franchise, the previous record was held by the original "Hotel Transylvania," released in 2012. Number two was "The Intern," starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro — and number three was last week's top movie, "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials."
