“Promoting and teaching financial literacy and necessary life skills to our valley’s students are critical to the future of our community.  As Yakima’s first hospital, Yakima Regional is pleased to be a part of the Junior Achievement Bowling Bash, and host the Basket Bazaar to raise as much money as possible to support the programs of Junior Achievement,” states Rich Robinson, CEO of Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.

JA is committed to ensuring that today’s young people learn the importance of fiscal responsibility and how to take ownership of their future success. The generous donations of time and money from the Basket Bazaar and the Bowling Bash will enable JA to teach the value of financial literacy, work force readiness and entrepreneurship to students in Central Washington.  For questions on the Basket Bazaar, please contact Debra Yergen at (509) 575-5282.  To participate in the Bowling Bash, or for more information, please visit www.jawashington.org or call Greg Jewell at (509) 853-1006.
