Body Of Woman Found Near Toppenish

Yakima County Sheriff's detectives are investigating the discovery of a woman's body Wednesday near Toppenish.
Employees with the Washington State Department of Transportation were conducting a bridge inspection at the intersection of Highway 97 and Marion Drain when they spotted the body below the bridge. Detectives were called and an investigation is underway. Authorities haven't said how she died and her identity has not been released.
