Authorities have identified a body found in the Yakima River last Thursday near the State Route 22 bridge. Detectives with the Yakima County Sheriff's office say the body is that of 20-year-old Alejandro Aguilera Suarez of Toppenish who was reported missing on the first week in October. An autopsy found no evidence of foul play and the cause of death is drowning.
Authorities say Saurez had not been seen or heard from by family members since the last week of September when he was last seen with friends North of Toppenish near the Yakima River.
Detectives say all of those interviewed that were last known to have been with Suarez say he wasn't a victim of violence and was last seen walking away from the group by himself.  His body was recovered about a mile down river. The investigation continues Today.
