If you are planning on boating this weekend, remember that Washington Law Enforcement will be there too. They are making sure that you don't drink while operating a watercraft. It's called operation "Dry Water" and is an annual attempt to enforce boating laws in Washington.

The main focus of the campaign is to raise awareness of the problem and to get impaired boat operators off the water.

From 2007 to 2011 at 30 people died in reportable boating accidents where alcohol was a contributing factor.
