Most parents worry about their kids eating to much junk food but how many parents actually seek out the very best foods…including what just might be  “brain food”?

A new study is out that suggests blueberries should be part of your kids regular diet.  Researchers found that blueberries helped boost children's reaction times by nine percent.

The small study looked at kids aged seven to ten, testing cognitive ability before and after consuming just one ounce of freeze dried blueberry powder.

The results?

Participant's reaction times improved by nine percent without affecting their accuracy. Scientists say they think this happens due to the antioxidants in the fruit called flavonoids, which have anti-inflammatory effects.

Super food for your super kid?  Maybe, and maybe for you?  Stay tuned for more research, but it wouldn’t hurt to add a few blueberries now, would it?
