The Yakima Valley Museum will be holding the third annual Blossom Festival to benefit the Children's Underground section of the museum in April.

The museum will be placing themed, hands-on activities that are designed to match specific exhibits and time periods that are represented throughout the facility for families to come and experience.

According to a press release, "Activities include decorating and planting your very own flower pot to take home, face painting, hair feathers and more." There will also be kid-friendly drinks and snacks that are served. A dance demonstration will be lead by Raqs Yakima, Casa Dor, and other local dance organizations.

The event is April 11th and starts at 5:00 p.m. and will finish up at 7:30. It will cost $10 per adult and $5 per kid though it will be capped at no more than $25 per family. Tickets can be purchased now at the museum or on the day of the event.
