Bike Patrols Downtown Yakima Start Soon

Yakima Police bike patrols start in downtown Yakima this month. Police Chief Dominic Rizzi says the patrols which started about 3 years ago get rolling on June 15. "We've had great response over the years doing this and I know the people downtown the business owners really like it." The 4 officers work the downtown area 7 days a week in the afternoon and evenings.
