No damage in Yakima reported from Saturday's storm and forecasters say the storm wasn't as bad as predicted. The west side of the state did see damaging winds and that kept power crews from a number of different agencies busy restoring power to more than 50 thousand people. Thousands are still without power on the west side of the state. Some in the Yakima Valley on Saturday lost power in the lower valley and Selah areas. But the power has since been restored. The rain set a new record in Yakima on Saturday at 0.26 inches of rain breaking a previous record of 0.21 in October of 2012.
