Yakima Woman Victim Of A Scam

It's a scam that just keeps working in the valley. Yakima Police say a woman lost $4,000 after wiring money to a person who called and ID'd himself as law enforcement. The person said he needed the money to get the woman's grandson out of jail after the grandson was arrested crossing the Mexican border. She contacted police after the suspect, who identified himself as an FBI agent, requested even more money. Yakima Police are now investigating, but they urge you to never wire money or give information to someone over the phone that you don't know.
