Tonight, when you kiss your sweetie goodnight and snuggle in for a good night’s sleep, know in your heart of hearts that your sleep will be better IF you have a better relationship.

A new study analyzing data from 350 American couples show maintaining a good relationship with your significant other might help you sleep better at night.  The couples were questioned about how well they slept and the results show that those who were in the most "responsive" relationships, or those who felt understood and cared for, slept best.

The finding held even when controlling for other factors such as age, weight, and general health. Study leaders say having a responsive partner who would be able to protect and comfort us should things go wrong is the most effective way for us humans to reduce anxiety and tension. (Daily Mail)
