Fresh off a raucous rally in Seattle on Sunday, Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has added a campaign stop in Yakima this week.

The Vermont senator will speak Thursday (March 24) at the Yakima Valley SunDome, according to his campaign's website. Doors open at 4 p.m. for the "A Future to Believe In" rally, which is free. Online RSVPs are encouraged.

Admission is first-come, first served -- attendees will enter through the southwest doors of the SunDome.

The Sanders campaign urges supporters to adhere to the following security guidelines:

"Please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security."

The 74-year-old Sanders trails Hillary Clinton by a significant margin as the two battle for delegates in seeking the Democratic nomination for the 2016 presidential race. At last count, Clinton had at total of 1,630 delegates and Sanders had 870. A total of 2,383 are needed for nomination, and 2,265 are still available.

Some Democrats are calling for Sanders to give in, saying a protracted battle with Clinton could divide the party.
