Bail has been set at a half million dollars for 32-year-old Benjamin McKenzie, the man arrested in Monday's crash that injured two young brothers. McKenzie faces two charges of vehicular assault after police say he was on drugs when he struck the brothers at a Yakima intersection Monday morning. The two boys, ages 10 and 11, remain in hospitals today in Yakima and Seattle. Authorities say the 10-year-old boy is listed in critical condition and not breathing on his own. He has multiple leg and back fractures and a severe head injury. His 11-year-old brother is listed in stable condition at Yakima Memorial Hospital. His injuries were less severe but he to suffered broken bones.
