SEATTLE (AP) — A Seattle man who taught private art lessons has been charged with molesting two of his students.

The Seattle Times reports that 64-year-old Telman Karimov was released from jail last week after posting $150,000 bail.

Bellevue police say they began investigating Karimov after an official with state Child Protective Services notified them of allegations made by the parent of a 4-year-old girl on Oct. 17.

Detectives learned Karimov gave art lessons to three girls, ages 4, 9 and 11, at an office building in Bellevue. Charging papers say he's accused of touching the youngest and eldest students sexually.

Police say they have contacted parents whose children have previously been taught by Karimov.

The case remains under investigation.
